Kingstree – The Kingstree High School girls basketball team defeated Mullins 46-21 to win the Region 8-AA championship on Tuesday at the KHS gymnasium.
Makayla Dukes led the Lady Blazers, who improved to 17-3 on the season and 7-0 in the region, with 12 points. Saniya Taylor added nine and Naydia Shaw had eight.
Dukes had 10 steals and eight assists while Shaw had 12 rebounds.

Dillon – The Dillon High School girls basketball team won the Region 7-AAA championship with a 41-32 victory over Waccamaw on Monday at the DHS gymnasium.
The win improved Dillon to 17-5 on the season and 8-1 in region play. Waccamaw fell to 11-10 and 7-2.
Treasure Davis led the Lady Wildcats with 16 points. Mariah Campbell scored 11 points, nine of them in the fourth quarter when she was 5 of 7 from the free throw line.
Maris Jennings led Waccamaw with 11 points, while Miah Smith had nine.

Florence – Wilson High School’s girls basketball team won the Region 6-AAAA title with a 51-48 triumph over Hartsville on Tuesday at the WHS gymnasium.

Logan Murray had 17 points to lead the Tigers, who improved to 17-6 and 9-1. Arianna Johnson added 14.
Brooke Mitchell had 25 for Hartsville, which fell to 20-7 and 8-2.

Lake City -- Hannah Riles and Jada Robinson combined for 47 points to lead Lake City to a 67-50 victory over Marlboro County on Tuesday at the LCHS gymnasium.
Riles finished with 25 points to lead the Panthers, who improved to 7-14 overall and 2-8 in Region 6-AAA. Robinson had 22 and NaShira Starks had 14.

Pamplico – Shawniza Bethea scored 22 points to lead Latta to a 65-40 victory over Hannah-Pamplico on Tuesday at the H-P gymnasium.
Kardae McFadden added 18 points for the Lady Vikings, who improved to 9-10 overall and 6-2 in Region 6-Class A. Nia McRae had 10 and Anziya Jones nine.
Jayla Graham led Hannah-Pamplico with 34 points.

Stone had 21 points for the Warriors, who improved to 12-9 overall and is 6-0 in SCISA Region 3-AA. . Outlar had 20, while Braxton Cummings had nine and Sean Locklear had eight.
