Moncks Corner — For the 25th consecutive year “The High School Sports Report” has been endorsed by SCISA to print, promote, and distribute the full color Official Souvenir Game Programs for the 10 teams participating in state championship football games this Friday and Saturday (Nov. 17-18).
The site for the 8-man championship between Jefferson Davis Academy and Holly Hill Academy was on dependent on the two remaining teams. That game will be played on Friday and a site will be announced on Monday by Mike Fanning , SCISA Athletic Director. Last year the 8-man finals began at 3:30 pm at CSU on Friday.
The program book is 8.5 by 11 full page and is just like a normal high school or college program. The program is printed on high end glossy paper and all pages are full color!
Hammond will face Laurence Manning at CSU at 7:30 on Friday in the AAAA finals. The AAA finals between Hilton Head Christian and Wilson Hall will take place at CSU at 3:30 pm on Saturday Nov., 18. The Class A finals between Patrick Henry and Lee Academy will take place at CSU on Saturday night at 7:30.
One special opportunity for supporters at either of these 10 schools is for “first time sponsors” of the HSSR program best wishes congratulation ads are “double credited”. In other words, when you do a sponsor ad in the official program you are also acknowledged on your school’s page in “The High School Sports Report” for one full year. This special offer should be very appealing to any freshman, sophomore, or junior parent as it will provide your school with continued statewide coverage in the HSSR, and our very popular companion web site at hssr.com for one full year!

Baker will be at the Hurricanes Sports Café from 3 until 6 p.m. on Saturday afternoon to greet any Patrick Henry fans. Baker will spend all day Monday in the Manning area. On Thursday he will be at the Town Café in Kingstree for Williamsburg Academy fans from 5 to 7 p.m. ON Tuesday and Wednesday he works “scattered” with the other SCISA schools.
Schools need to provide content for their Official Souvenir Game Programs by Tuesday, Nov 14th at 6pm. This includes Photo of school principal (solo or with family) and "Welcome Letter" from the school for full page in the program. Team Photos for both Football and Cheer. PDF files of expanded team rosters, probably starting line-ups, updated stats, and the team's season record (dates, team, & score).
Berna Noll will be taking calls to answer questions and take payments at the HSSR office at 843-553-0264. Feel free to call after 5 p.m. and even on Sunday.
The HSSR contains congratulations and best wishes to all 10 teams who have worked very hard to earn their place in the SCISA football state finals.
