Week Seven Honor Roll From The Midlands

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ninety Six quarterback Kentavius Williams had 21 carries for 323 yards and three touchdowns and also threw for 77 yards and two more scores in the Wildcats’ 35-31 victory over Saluda.

Fort Dorchester quarterback Ty Olenchuk was 20 of 24 for 339 yards and three touchdowns in the Silver Foxes’ 56-14 victory over River Bluff. Gage Zirke had seven catches for 119 yards and a score.

White Knoll quarterback Aveon Smith ran for 129 yards and also threw for 205 and two touchdowns in the Timberwolves’ 21-17 loss to Chapin. Caleb Meyerand had 12 tackles for WKHS followed by Jaylan Johnson with 11.

Chapin quarterback Roger Pedroni was 14 of 21 for 142 yards in the Eagles’ 21-17 win over White Knoll. Jaylin Thomas had nine catches for 127 yards. James Wells had 11 tackles.

Kendrell Flowers ran for 117 yards and a score in Irmo’s 21-14 loss to Blythewood. John Ragin threw for 133 yards and a score.

Ridge View QB Javon Anderson threw three touchdown passes and ran for another in a 46-11 win over Richland Northeast.

Saluda quarterback Noah Bell was 18 of 30 for 263 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for another score in the Tigers’ 35-31 loss to Ninety Six.

Strom Thurmond’s Jaquan Harris rushed 16 times for 217 yards and three scores in a 41-21 win over Swansea. Linebacker Deshaun Miles had six tackles and an interception.

Jaylon Boyd ran 24 times for 122 yards and a touchdown during Blythewood’s 21-14 victory over Irmo. King Ford threw for 111 yards and another score. Patrick Godbolt had 11 ½ tackles including 6 ½ for a loss and 3 ½ sacks.

Pelion’s Pryce Whitten was 11 of 12 passing for 203 yards and three touchdowns in 34-21 win over Edisto.

Gray Collegiate quarterback Hunter Helms completed 22 of 26 passes for 322 yards and three touchdowns in 42-6 win over Columbia. Linebacker Braylin Scott had 12 total tackles, including three for a loss, and a fumble recovery.

Camden’s Shymeik Corbett ran for 103 yards on eight carries with three touchdowns in 56-13 win over Fairfield Central.

Wilson Hall’s Wise Segars completed four passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 40 yards on five carries during the Barons’ 45-0 rout of Augusta Christian.

Hammond QB Jackson Muschamp finished 16 of 24 for 314 yards and four touchdowns in 42-14 victory over Porter-Gaud.

Heathwood Hall’s Ronnie Porter had 19 rushes for 104 yards and three touchdowns during the Highlanders’ 27-26 victory over Ben Lippen. Alex Lewis added 120 yards on the ground.
