Week Three Honor Roll From The Lowcountry

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Baptist Hill’s Rashad Maxwell had 265 yards passing and 269 yards rushing while also accounting for nine touchdowns in the Bobcats’ 72-0 win over Academic Magnet. Jayvonta Burnell ran for 209 yards and finished with three total touchdowns.

Summerville quarterback Johnathan Bennett accounted for 356 yards of total offense in the Green Wave’s 56-17 victory over Stratford – completing 14 of 27 passes for 198 yards and three touchdowns while also running for 158 yards and three more scores.

Cane Bay quarterback Elijah Bey rushed for 193 yards and three touchdowns in the Cobras’ 28-21 victory over Ashley Ridge.

Justin Pelic had 12 total tackles including one tackle for a loss in Wando High School’s 17-3 loss to Fort Dorchester.

First Baptist running back Michel Dukes finished with 205 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a 45-7 victory over Ben Lippen. Myron Wigfall threw for 101 yards and two scores.

Ashley Ridge’s Nick Cunningham had 18 carries for 187 yards and a touchdown in the Swamp Foxes’ 28-21 loss to Cane Bay. Matthew Duncan threw for 150 yards and two scores while Darius Smith recorded 18 combined tackles.

Jertaveon Smalls ran 16 times for 125 yards and three TDs and also threw for 119 yards in Ridgeland-Hardeeville’s 37-26 loss to Whale Branch.

Fort Dorchester quarterback De’Andrae Sabb ran the ball 21 times for 224 yards and a touchdown and also threw for 83 yards and another score in the Patriots’ 17-3 win over Wando.

Dre Martin hit on 20 of 33 passes for 328 yards and a touchdown in Stall’s 21-6 loss to James Island. Tyshon Richardson had seven catches for 115 yards while James Levine caught six passes for 96 yards and a score. Jamarious McClellan had 10 total tackles on defense.

Mario Anderson had 123 yards on 19 carries and one TD in Stratford’s 56-17 loss to Summerville.

Tyler Durham threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns in St. John’s 44-14 win over North Charleston. Tyrone Hicks had 96 yards rushing and three TDs.

Keegan Williams rushed for 159 yards and had 60 receiving yards in Oceanside Collegiate’s 34-33 victory over Gray Collegiate.

Caleb Pierce ran for two TDs and caught another in Porter-Gaud’s 44-7 victory over Wilson Hall.

Connor Rourk had two rushing touchdowns, two passing touchdowns and three two-point conversions in Palmetto Christian’s 44-16 win over W.W. King.

Nai’Ryan Bookert rushed for two touchdowns and passed for two more in St. John’s Christian’s 66-12 victory over Laurens Academy.

Colby Weeks had 230 passing yards and three touchdowns to go along with 68 yards rushing and another score in Dorchester Academy’s 34-24 win against Northside Christian.

Andrew Jackson Academy QB Bug Brunson rushed for 217 yards on 29 carries and added two touchdown passes in a 38-22 win over Jefferson Davis Academy.
