Week Three Honor Roll From The Pee Dee

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Carvers Bay quarterback Janaz Sumpter accounted for 176 yards total offense and four touchdowns – including a punt return for a score – in the Bears’ 42-6 win over Hemingway. Isaac Pittman had 122 yards and two TDs on 13 carries.

Jamel Brayboy made the most of his four carries with 112 yards rushing and three touchdowns in Kingstree’s 46-0 victory over Cross. Kavon McBride added 103 yards and a score on seven carries while Derrick McFadden finished with 101 yards and two TDs on seven totes as well. Jamal Fulton led the defense with nine tackles.

Dillon’s Nemo Squire rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns as the Wildcats blanked Lake View 41-0. Tyquan King had 84 yards and two scores while Nigel George added 82 yards and another TD.

Hartsville’s Tiyon Evans had eight carries for 122 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Red Foxes past Conway 35-0. He also threw for 87 yards with one score.

JR Reid had 12 carries for 101 yards and a 72-yard touchdown in Central’s 33-29 victory over Cheraw.

Jac’Quez Lucas had 15 carries for 129 yards and three touchdowns as Lamar defeated North Central 33-7.

Mullins quarterback Xavier Legette had 11 rushes for 190 yards and three touchdowns and also completed nine passes for 148 yards in a 42-8 victory over C.E. Murray.

Timmonsville’s Fanando Jackson rushed for 187 yards and two TDs in the Whirlwinds’ 29-6 win over Marion. JaMaric Morris had 78 yards rushing and two scores while Bryan McFadden finished with 102 yards on the ground.

Latta’s Dylan Brewer threw three touchdown passes in the Vikings’ 42-6 win over Creek Bridge. Darius McRae had two TD receptions.

Hannah-Pamplico QB Eric Mays threw for three touchdowns in a 36-9 win over McBee.

Laurence Manning Academy’s Brewer Brunson had 14 carries for 217 yards and three touchdowns in the Swampcats’ 48-25 victory over Heathwood Hall.

Marshall Brown ran for 153 yards and a touchdown in Florence Christian’s 19-17 victory over Orangeburg Prep. Eli Brayboy ran for 138 yards and two scores.

North Myrtle Beach QB Cason McClendon completed 16 of 22 passes for 206 yards and one touchdown and also ran for another score in the Chiefs’ 20-6 victory over St. James.

Pee Dee Academy quarterback Jake Lane threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-8 victory over Colleton Prep. Jason Norton rushed for 84 yards and three scores of his own and Ryan Forney had 11 tackles.

Trinity-Byrnes running back Reggion Bennett had 122 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the Titans' 49-14 win over Dillon Christian.
